Without a doubt, one of our very favourite colour schemes on any road bike, the Planet Blue on the RSV1000R is both rare and utterly gorgeous, especially in the sunshine.
As you would expect, it sounds incredible with the lovely V-Twin burbling away on tickover through the twin Akrapovic pipes...out on the road it sounds even better but isn't anywhere near as antisocial as you might think.
The ride is glorious, few things are more enjoyable than piloting a big V-Twin along a beautiful country lane in the sunshine...other than perhaps shepherding one at night along empty city streets with the sound cannoning off the buildings....that's a lot of fun too!
This particular bike remains in rather nice condition, having been enjoyed by just 4 owners and covering around 23,500 miles since it was registered in 2008. The service history is good, with 5 stamps in the book from the supplying Aprilia dealer up until 2020 and 17,378 miles, plus a further two receipts for services since then (amongst other various maintenance receipts), the latter of which was a full service kit including oil, filter, air filter, spark plugs and brake fluid
Prior to sale, we will be servicing the bike, putting it through our usual 60 point inspection and it will given a new MOT. On top of that, we will warranty the bike for 6 months, extendable to up to 24 months through our award-winning partners Warranty Solutions Group.
