A rather special car this one. Fans will know the 3.0 si E86 is quite a rare beast, having only been produced in relatively small numbers. But this is the spec you really want...the Sport model with the manual gearbox. Lovely stuff.
Adding to its rarity, this particular car was spec'd in Midnight Blue with the Oregon Beige leather interior and aluminium trim. We are led to believe from a previous enthusiast owner that only 4 other examples were spec'd like this. We haven't validated that claim though!
Fully electric M-Sport seats, sun protection glass, Bluetooth phone connectivity, multifunction steering wheel and rear parking sensors are also spec'd.
The car has a great history, but nonetheless has been extensively prepared for sale whilst in our care. We have given it a fresh oil service, new brake fluid, new rocker gasket, new Kumho Ecsta tyres all round, refurbished the very tricky Style 108 two piece alloy wheels, an MOT and 60 point pre-sale inspection.
In March 2024, the car had a full Inspection II service at BMS in Leatherhead at 98k miles, and new gearbox oil in 2022. Going further back, there are service stamps at 18k, 37k, 51k, 70k, 82k, 87k, 89k, 90k and 92k. There is also a lovely stack of old service documents and MOTs.
Cosmetically the car presents well. There is some wear on the driver's seat bolster as to be expected on a car this low, and of this age. Externally, the bodywork is good and very straight, but it could do with some paint correction at some stage if the next owner is so inclined.
