It's a 1995 example showing 27,166 km (16,880 miles) and has been carefully kept in very fine, original condition with all original bodywork and the original exhaust. Our friends at DB Moto have been through the bike in great detail with a list of works that includes removing, cleaning, refitting and balancing the carbs, valve clearance checks, new ER9H NGK spark plugs, fresh oil, oil filter, coolant and brake fluid, brake caliper service front and rear, new Yuasa battery, new Bridgestone Battlax S21 tyres and an extensive rolling road test to ensure the bike is performing as it should.
The bike was imported and sold in 2000 by BAT Motorcycles, and we have taken the bike on a measured mile to confirm the odometer is reading in KM with the speedometer reading in MPH, which is how BAT commonly set up imported bikes back in the day. Everything we have documentation-wise points to the odometer always having been in KM.
We have quite a lot of history with the bike, including the original BAT Motorcycles bill of sale, lots of old MOT certificates, and some maintenance and servicing invoices including a very thorough service in 2007, since when it has only covered 250km, hence the thorough recommissioning we've done on the bike.
The bike is running very nicely indeed and rides great out on the road. Prior to sale we will be putting a fresh MOT on it, and the bike has two original keys.
