The 1098S is already a special bike, but this one is a particularly striking opportunity.
Not only is it spec'd with a full Termignoni 70mm serpentine works exhaust and silencers and Ducati Performance dry clutch, it's also had a documented, professionally done full engine rebuild just 2,000 miles ago due to a bad crank bearing. So, that meant all new crank bearings, new pistons, new cylinders, new conrods, new water pump and bearings, new sprag clutch, new belts, new fluids and desmo valve adjustments. We appreciate this may be looked at positively or negatively, but to our minds it's a huge bonus given the mileage. We've also been in touch with the engineer who is more than willing to describe the work in more detail, if needed.
On top of that, we have a folder full of additional invoices and history, all the owners manuals, a stamped service book with 8 stamps (inc. a host of belt changes, the last done in late 2023) and a recent fluids service at 19,722 miles.
The bike has been through our full 60 point PDI and we have changed the brake fluid as per a standard 24 month cycle.
